Queer Reads

Queer Reads is a free monthly gathering for LGBTQ2SIA folks to socialize and connect with literature in a variety of genres. 

Facilitated by author Nikki Donadio. A graduate of the Humber School for Writers, she holds an MA in Creative and Critical Writing and a BA in English Literature. Nikki writes fiction and poetry.

Join us for a discussion led by Ronen Grunberg on Sweetness in the Belly.
Lilly, the main character in the book is the perpetual outsider, illustrating the alienation and longing of those who never feel at home anywhere. In Ethiopia, she is the white-skinned “faranji”; in England, the disconnected exile.
